Since October 2010, our beautiful wine region has been awarded the Vignobles & Découvertes label, a mark created by Atout France, the French national agency tasked with promoting tourism, including wine tourism.

Vignobles & Découvertes in these parts focuses on winemakers across five AOCs (Chinon, Bourgueil, Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Touraine Azay-le-Rideau, Touraine Noble-Joué); but it’s also about local hotels, restaurants, heritage sights, leisure activity providers, tourist offices (notably those at Langeais and Bourgueil) and more, all working together to ensure the same high standard of welcome.

The Château de Rochecotte features several dining rooms overlooking the formal gardens. We offer private lounges for your family meals or special events. When the warmer weather comes, you can enjoy the wisteria-covered terrace overlooking the Loire Valley and savour our chef’s cuisine (Emmanuelle Pasquier-Terrien). You will experience her exquisite cuisine combining the Touraine products together with Mediterranean fragrances and you will be regaled with Franck Joly’s desserts, our head pastry chef. Afternoon teas are served in the lounges or on the terrace upon reservation.
